Today, on International Women’s Day – the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) of Azania rededicates itself to the mission and the vision championed by the women in our ranks.
Some of these women, young and old, paid the supreme sacrifice in the battle against settler-colonialism as well as male chauvinism. They stood their ground at a time when they were least expected to. In doing so, they encouraged those that came after them.
Zondeni Sobukwe, Bebe Mothopeng, Neo Chepape, Nomvo Booi, Belede Mazwai, Ncinci Simelane and Sheila Gola are amongst many others, not mentioned here, who were pivotal in making sacrifices for the cause.
